According to the UK Government it has provided the devolved administrations with over £304m since 2017 to prepare for Brexit. The Scottish Government received the largest share of the funding (45.4%), the Northern Ireland Civil Service (in the absence of a Northern Ireland Executive following Stormont's collapse in 2017) received 28.2% and the Welsh Government 26.4%. The £85.9m of Brexit funding provided to the Northern Ireland Civil Service breaks down as £51.4m core funding, £16.5m for policing and £18m for other pressures not faced in other parts of the UK.
